Roasting
Lazy Sunday is light roast that is pleasant to taste. It mellows, and turns into warm to your senses. 1kg coffee beans from Latin America is used to smooth the brew while Africa includes citrus notes for balance. The result is a drink that is delicious by itself, or paired with cake or milk chocolate. It would complement lemon drizzle cakes and vanilla sponges.
When brewing this coffee, we recommend using the French Press method, preheating your vessel by adding some off the boil water to keep it warm and ready to brew. After brewing, let it sit for four minutes, this will ensure that the grounds are saturated and not over extracted. The water should be forced through the grounds by the plunger. Do not stir or stir the coffee, as this could lead to unpleasant elements in your cup.
Strength - 3 is a little softer and easygoing, perfect for weekend getaways.
Storage
Lazy Sunday is a soft light roast with a sweet, citrus and cocoa smell. It has a soft mouth feel that caresses the palette. The cocoa notes can be traced back to a winters' day in the living room, reading a book and the warmth of a hug from the family. To brew your coffee, first heat up your French Press with off boil water. This will prevent the coffee from being too extracted and causing undesirable elements in your drink. Add the grounds, and 250ml of water that has been taken off the boil. Steep for four minutes, take a plunge and relax.
